Please, please, please ... some honest feedback of my glasses?

I got some new glasses and I love the style. And Joel and the lady at the store said they were great, but I just wasn't sure. I'm still not. I think they might be too wide for my face and I am asking you for the TRUTH. I have 90 days to return them, so it's okay if the consensus is that they don't look good. And, if you tell me you don't like them and I decide to keep them, your opinion will NOT have bugged me.

I didn't take fantastic pictures ... one of me smiling and one of me not. I didn't really fix my hair or makeup because, well, this is probably how I look most of the time (although I am in desperate need of a bang trim).

Honest opinions?





Joel just came home and tried to snap a better shot ... which I think shows a little better than my own photos why I think they're big:





p.s. you can click on the pictures a couple times and they'll get bigger.

I really like them! I like the style, but I think I agree with you that they might be a little too wide for your face. I think it could go either way. Picking out glasses is always so hard! Where did you get them?

I definitely think they're too wide. Esp in the first and last pics. If you go with smaller sqaure frames I think it would be better. :)

I agree that they're a little too wide, although otherwise I love the style on you! Maybe you can find them only a little more narrow? I almost had to buy children's glasses because my face is small/narrow.

They are dominating your face. They look pretty hipsterish on you, especially in the last picture, but when people look at you they will see GLASSES FIRST and KATIE SECOND.

I vote for getting ones that aren't quite so big. I think my biggest issue is with how square and thick they are at the sides. (Like, not on the stems, but at the outside of your eyes - there's too much plastic there.) I think you could find ones that would still be "cool" but that would fit better with your look & style.

Edited because I feel like this was all too matter-of-fact: YOU look totally cute, and I love that owl shirt you're wearing! I just think the glasses aren't quite "you."

Honestly I think they are too wide as well. Like Lindy said above if you could get just smaller square frames they would look amazing!

I like how they look straight on, but at an angle they look too big. But, I also don't like that style of frame in general - when I went looking for glasses recently I tried on a ton of that style and I just couldn't get used to the huge arm (? or whatever it's called) either. It's distracting to me.

I also think you look good! I'm not talking glasses, I'm just talking about you :)
